"My lessons with Mrs. Wieder started ten years ago when I was 5 years old and I had gotten pretty good playing piano as a kid. As time went on, my playing had gotten a lot better and my understanding of what to do and how to practice had similarly improved. Music has such a special and important meaning to me, which is the reason why I still take lessons as a high schooler. Every year I look forward to learning new and fun pieces. Whenever I can, I try to spend a little time playing and practicing the piano and try to push myself to reach my potential. Mrs. Wieder is extraordinarily adaptable and helps me make my own schedule for my lesson. This was very helpful because of my after-school track and cross-country practices. I appreciate the time she takes out of her day every week to help me practice and get better at piano. I also would like to thank her for her unending patience, outstanding dedication and generosity. Thank you so much Mrs. Wieder for being such a wonderful teacher and helping me learn so much about music!"                                                                     ~Sudharshan Grade 9

"Anne has been my daughter's piano teacher for 8 years. Under her guidance, my daughter developed skill and passion for playing piano. Anne is a very dedicated teacher who allows her students to select some music depending on their interests. She always gives material to practice their theoretical skills, prints out notes for them to refer to, and encourages them to practice regularly. She would allow students to bring in music that they were interested to learn and explore. She gave extra time for students to learn the music correctly and still be firm about the timelines because the materials had to be completed to participate in recitals and competitions. Most importantly, she taught them to enjoy music while learning. Anne always had multiple ways she would motivate her students. My daughter loved the little crafts she made them as rewards, and the unique music ornaments she made for Christmas. Another great thing is that Anne is a great teacher for any age level. My daughter was learning piano for many years and seeing this, my dad also developed an interest in learning piano. She didn't hesitate to share her knowledge with him. My dad at the time, was 73 years of age and had mild tremors in his right hand. She gave him additional time for him to practice and was patient to help him understand music. She also provided him a lot of theory practice sheets and music until he was able to play well. She encouraged him to play at recitals and competitions. Anne, her husband, and children are all dedicated to music. Every recital is a real family effort and the result is enjoyable for all her students and their family members. Thank you Anne Wieder for sharing your passion of music with my family members!"               ~Renuka

"We have been going to Anne for piano lessons for about 7 years. Anne is a wonderful pianist and an excellent instructor! She is very patient and thorough, diligently working with my daughter until she understands. Anne also uses some fun methods to connect with her students like group theory classes and holiday parties. My daughter always enjoys going to her lesson. I would highly recommend Anne Wieder for piano instruction!"                                                                                                                                                                                                     ~Amanda Gibson
